Have a Golden Time in 2009
The 50th Wisconsin Square & Round Dance Convention was August 7, 8 & 9, 2009.
It was held at D. C. Everest High School in Weston, WI and Westport had 35 members in attendance. It was a great convention, and all of us who were there had a very enjoyable experience. Although the weather was quite warm and humid Saturday and Sunday, the school was air condioned making it quite pleasant.
While we all had a great time, convention attendance was down. The official attendance total was 674, that is down from over 800 last year.
