Milwaukee Brewers Game - July 9, 2009
Twenty Westport Squares members met at the town hall at 9am to begin our journey to Miller Park. Paul VanRooy, Jerry Buechner, Curt Shawkey, & Don Acker drove their vans. We convoyed to Miller Park where we set up for our tail gate party. We had 2 grills and some great chefs. Everyone brought their own meat to grill and a dish to pass, and their own drinks. Following the party, we went into the stadium for the game. Unfortunately the Brewers lost 5-1 to the St. Louis Cardnials, but inspite of that, we had a great time. After the game, it took a while to get out of the parking area, but we made it back to the town hall by 6:30.
