Capitol Brewery Beer Garden
On July 22, 2009 Westport Squares had another social event at the Capitol Brewery Beer Garden. We had a nice turn out of Westport members along with a few other area square dancers. To promote our lessons in the fall we did some square dancing with Tom Nickel calling. We handed out free passes to 2 lessons beginning on Sunday September 21st. This was an enjoyable summer event. We brought our own pot luck food and enjoy any of their various specialty beers or soft drinks. We met at 5pm for fun, food and fellowship. Square dancing began at 6pm and we danced until 7:30. It was an enjoyable event.
